Yahmeek Ahmad Lassiter was born August 15, 2021, in Norfolk Virginia, to Shaniqua Lassiter. Yahmeek was educated at the Norview Elementary School, Ingleside Elementary and Granby Elementary School.
Yahmeek was a fun-loving child; always smiling and living life to the fullest. Even being diagnosed with Sickle Cell Anemia; there is nothing that he would and could not do, as any other child. If you met him once, he would leave a footprint on your heart with that contagious smile.
In the early hours of March 15, 2021, Yahmeek transitioned at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughter, in Norfolk Va.
Yahmeek was Predeceased by his great grandmother Kathy D. Lassiter; his great great great grandmother Emma Gardner, his great great great grandfather Lass Lassiter Sr.; his great great Uncle Lass Lassiter Jr.; and his great great aunt Kate Francis Lassiter.
Yahmeek leaves to cherish is fond memories and contagious smile, his loving mother Shaniqua Lassiter; his brother Joshua Lassiter; his sisters: Zariya and Naomi Lassiter; his aunts: Zanobia and Olivia Lassiter, Natalie Evans; his uncles: Elijuwa, Charles, Yahmir, Kathir Lassiter; his Grandmother Charmaine Lassiter-Evans, Grandfather and Grandmother Brad and Habibah Smith of Dexter Hill Pa.; his great great great Grandmother Mattie Lassiter of Newark N.J.; his Great Great Grandmother Anna Blanche Lassiter-Henderson of Newark N.J.; his Great Grandmother Rita Smith of Poughkeepsie N.Y.; his great uncle Kenneth Lassiter; his great aunt Tikiesha Lassiter-Berry and a special father Twila Spence. and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relative a friends.
