Paul E. Winston was born June 11, 1935, to Eresters C. Winston and Beatrice Wilkins Winston, in North Carolina.
He graduated high school and later moved to New Jersey. Paul was an entrepreneur of multiple businesses and was quite successful at each one of them.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his 1st born son Rueben Shepard, 1st born daughter Patricia Lambert, Mark Turner, Nathan Turner, Darryl Turner, Lawrence McMillian, Saundra McMillian, Paula McNeil, Judea Freedman, Kenya Winston, Corey Winston Sr., Nievans Wiggins, DeShawn Wiggins, Kenny Jenerette, Lamont Jenerette, and Alphonso (Fonzie) Winston; his grandchildren: Kyle Winston, Corey Winston Jr., Kyri Perry, Nate Ortiz and Alisa Jenerette; Latorah Winstead; his great grandson, Kanaan Winston; his only sister Vera Winston Breakley (Thomas E.); his common law wife Christine Winston; his devoted friend Cassandra Echols. Paul leaves a host of other grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces , nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Proceeding Paul in death were his parents, Eresters C. Winston and Beatrice Wilkins Winston; his daughter Shanda Winston; his brothers: Charles Winston (June) and David L. Winston.
Paul was everyone’s favorite. He was a wonderful father to all of his children; no matter where they were; and a loving god father to his nieces, nephews, cousins and all other family members. He was always there for you. He was famous for his barbeques and family get-togethers. We are going to miss you Paul, but you will always be in our hearts.
