Maurice Cornell Pridgen was born April 12,1961 in Newark NJ, to the late Marion Lee Pridgen Sr. and Hilda Grace (Dawson)Pridgen. He attended the Linden School System. He graduated in 1980. He met the love of his life Dawn Fullman. Out of this union, they had daughter Simone A. Fullman. He worked at the Woodbridge state facility. He was so dedicated to that company, he relocated to Panama City Florida to work. Homesick for his daughter and family, he moved back to NJ and started working for the Elizabeth Board of Education, as a security guard for 18 years.
In 1999, Maurice gave his life to the lord. He became a member of Zion Temple Pentecostal Church. He loved the lord so much that he traveled to many churches. He became a Deacon at Word of Promise Ministries in 2018. He preached his first sermon in 2019.
Maurice Pridgen entered eternal peace on July 22, 2022.
Maurice Pridgen was proceeded in death by his parents, Marion Lee Pridgen Sr. and Hilda Grace (Dawson) Pridgen; his sister Sheba Griffin; his brother Marion Lee Pridgen Jr. and Brother-in-law Anthony (Big Ant).
Maurice leaves to cherish his loving and lasting memories; his loving daughter Simone Fullman (Patrick); his granddaughters: Sarah and Al-Zmya; his Grandson Anees, his sisters: Carla Pridgen, Sharon Pridgen, Chevonne Pridgen; Aunts: Evelyn Pridgen, Vera Gunn and Frances Dawson; Uncles: Chester Pridgen and Lonnie Dawson Great Aunt: Wilhelmine Edwards; Great Uncles: James Dixon, Will Dixon and Roger Dixon; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and Friends.
